This portfolio presents a selection of works from recent years of investigations into material transformation, patina, and the traces of time.
The first series, Corrosion of Matter and Archive of Weathering, focus on graphic prints created from patinated metal plates, in which corrosion and oxidation become active image-forming agents. These are followed by projects that explore the relationship between materiality, architecture, and place - including Impressions of Rome and earlier architectural investigations. The portfolio also includes publication work developed in connection with the project To Let It Occur.
The final project has a more spatial and architectural character and is included to demonstrate the methodological and sensory continuity between my graphic practice and my background in spatial design. Together, the projects show how my practice has gradually shifted from spatial and architectural investigations toward a more material- and image-based approach, while maintaining an awareness of the tactile and spatial significance of materials.
The works were produced without the use of generative AI.
