The design challenges how basketwork can be used in a contemporary context to create an expression playing with transparency and lightness. The double curved shell as the principle in the construction made it possible to create a strong shell with very little material. The minimal material consumption is also a sustainable element in the design.

The bench in plywood was a refinement of the first design in metal, which was my final project on my 1th semester on furniture design.
