In the project i was asking the overall question; can design elements such as texture, structure and color be used to enhance or alter our perception of taste during a dining experience?
In the research process I was looking into the interplay between the senses, referred to as multisensory perception. A part of the project revolved around tactility and surface structure in ceramics. Here i was investigating peoples assocciations with the surfaces, first when touching the object and later when looking at it. This research was part of my object cource during my exchange in the Hague.
